What is Write for The Alligator?
You can answer the points raised by an article by writing a new one yourself.
Alligator reply is a new online feature aimed at encouraging discussion and debate in the Oxford University community.
Your reply will be treated as a contribution to The Alligator rather than a comment. This means that your reply will have to be more than 300 words in length, and have an argument of its own rather than addressing a single point.
By 'linking' a new article, you can write an entirely new piece on the subject without replying to specific points raised by the original. Again, your reply will be seen as a submission and will be published only under editorial discretion.
Alternatively, you can contribute a totally new artice on any topic of your choice.
