Michael is reading Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Balliol College, Oxford.
His main areas of interest are South Asia, economics, religion and the environment.
He is currently working on projects related to British 'AfPak' policy, having recently visited Peshawar and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas in Pakistan and Kabul, Bamiyan and Mazari Sharif in Afghanistan.
He is also a keen musician and Balliol's Senior Organ Scholar.
